Community Power Logistics LLC (“CPL”) is a minority owned small business (certification pending) that provides innovative business and legal consulting services to third-party logistics companies that specialize in the transport of over-dimensional cargo from factory to final destination. CPL also has significant experience in the logistics of obtaining high-voltage transformers, including their storage, delivery, assembly, installation, maintenance and repair. Our business and legal services support all phases of our clients’ logistical activities related to transportation by road, air, rail, ship or barge of over-dimensional loads, whether related to planning, execution or resolution of claims.
CPL'S MISSION
We started CPL, in part, to take advantage of opportunities for diverse participants in the electrical power and third-party logistics industries. Through founder, Krishna Narine's experience as an attorney representing third-party logistics, heavy haul trucking and high-voltage transformer companies, Mr. Narine has significant experience in both legal and business aspects of this niche but important industry. Such experience includes business formation, contract negotiation, industry related dispute resolution and litigation, insurance and regulatory compliance and sourcing as well as participation in field operations.
Primary Services
CPL often supports and consults on projects related to traditional power sources as well as fast-growing alternatives such as solar and wind power. We work with the federal and state governments, utility power companies as well as the private sector to help each meet their energy needs and to assist their efforts to reduce their carbon footprints.
